Gua Baos (Pork Baos)
These fluffy bao buns are filled with sweet and sticky pork bacon, with a hint of soy and ginger. They are salty, sweet and full of flavor!
- Soy sauce
- Broth (to taste)
- Brown sugar
- Bao bread
- Garlic powder
- Fresh cilantro
- STEP 01: Pour the stock, ginger, garlic powder and brown sugar into a pot and bring to the boil. Once hot, add the bacon slices. We let it cook on low heat for 1 hour.
- STEP 02: Once cooked, transfer it to the pan. We add salt and pepper to the cuts. Prepare the sauce in a separate bowl where we add soy, ginger, honey and brown sugar.
- STEP 03: Let the meat absorb the sauce and set aside. We open the bread and fill them with the meat, decorate with sesame and fresh cilantro. Let's eat and enjoy!
