The value of genetics
Selección Batallé® is responsible for improving pig genetics, a task we have been involved in since 1962, producing and marketing top-quality breeding animals.
We have developed our own crossbreeding programme, known as TB-Híbrids®, in which are involved more than 25,000 purebreed breeding pigs allocated in breeding and multiplication farms. The aim is to obtain a commercial pig (TB-2®) that combines minimum cost of fattening for the producer and maximum carcass and meat quality for the meat industry.
