As a meat company, we have a great responsibility to constantly improve and to better our work every day. Not just to offer safe and quality meat products, but also to be able to provide better opportunities for everyone.
Our commitment revolves around three pillars: Environment, Health, and Society.
These 3 pillars are intrinsically linked. We cannot achieve better Human Health without improving our Society and the Environment. Likewise, we cannot preserve the Environment without good education for our Society.
This is why at Batallé, we created our own CSR which is managed by the workers and members of the Batallé family.
Our policy fully respects our natural environment, encouraging recycling and animal welfare policies as well as promoting the use of renewable energies and environmental preservation. That is why we want to collaborate with organisations that preserve, protect and improve our Environment, which is essential for life.
Human Health is extremely important to us. Without health, we cannot enjoy life. That is why at Batallé we promote various healthy activities in order to maintain and improve health. This key point focuses on promoting and collaborating with different professionals who study and publicise everything related to Health.
As a company, we have a direct impact on our society. That is why the CSR continues to improve it more and more, either through health education, sports or leisure activities. We also want to collaborate with third sector organisations that do very important work helping those who are most vulnerable.
For over 30 years, driven by the challenge of making leukemia, someday, a 100% curable disease, the Josep Carreras Foundation against Leukaemia tirelessly promotes all kinds of projects in favor of patients and science. At Batallé, we have the honor and responsibility to help the Josep Carreras Leukaemia Foundation become unstoppable.
During this 2022, we have contributed again to San Juan de Dios Organization, that´s why Batallé will continue to be a committed organization for another year.
At Batallé we care about the environment and firmly believe that we must preserve it, which is why we have bought 2 plots of the Sils ponds (Girona) and have given their use for 10 years to the Emys Foundation so that it can start a recovery of the typical habitats of this space.
